Overr Eazy Farm LLC prides itself in providing superior quality hatching eggs to our customers. Because there are countless factors out of our control once the eggs leave our possession, we are NOT able to place any guarantee on hatchability rates for our hatching eggs. These factors include, but are not limited to, stress during customer or USPS transportation; temperature and humidity fluctuations or interruptions during incubation; improper incubator settings; insufficient sanitation of incubators; ambient humidity and temperature; handling procedures during candling; improper storage of eggs while awaiting incubation; and much more. Because of these countless reasons, we are NOT able to offer refunds on our hatching eggs. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We DO guarantee that your hatching eggs will be collected and stored with the utmost care. All hatching eggs are stored in a temperature controlled room with no exposure to sunlight. We turn our eggs 45 degrees every 24 hours while being stored upside down. For shipping via USPS, our eggs are individually wrapped in bubble wrap. The carton is then wrapped in bubble wrap to fit securely inside the box. This prevents the egg carton from sliding inside the box.
Local pickup orders are preferred as they help minimize trauma during transport. We like to offer our superior animals to anyone interested, so shipping via USPS is also available. There are no refunds for eggs damaged during USPS transport. We encourage you to file a claim with USPS for damaged shipping boxes and/or eggs, but we have not had success with USPS honoring shipping insurance claims in the past. All shipping costs will be paid by the customer.
Although we cannot place a guarantee on hatch rates outside of our farm, we are happy to share our fertility rates on the farm. We generally try to include complimentary eggs that align with our current egg fertility rates for each breed. Please feel free to contact us today to inquire about current hatch rates by breed.
Baby chicks, both shipped and picked up locally, are covered by our 24 hour guarantee. We guarantee that we have provided you with a healthy chick, void of any known congenital issues. Any loss of chicks during shipping and/or within the first 24 hours after receiving your order is eligible for a refund for any chicks lost. Pictures must be emailed to Overr Eazy Farm LLC within 48 hours of accepting your order to be eligible for a refund. A picture of your order label MUST be included also.
Any stress related deaths from shipping or transport will usually be seen in the first 24 hours. Any illness or death after the initial 24 hours is generally attributed to environmental factors such as improper brooder temperature and/or humidity; lack of appropriate "cool down" area; contaminated feed and/or water; improper feed and/or water; improper bedding; excessive handling; and much more.
In situations where animals and/or orders are being reserved for future pickup, or a hatching order is being placed, a deposit may be required. The deposit requirements are at the discretion of Overr Eazy Farm LLC. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions. We understand that life happens and situations arise that prevent you from fulfilling your end of the order. We will do our best to work with you if unforeseen circumstances arise. Because Overr Eazy Farm LLC is a small, family run operation, and a lot of our time and money goes into maintaining superior standards for our animals, we cannot afford refunds on deposits once an order and deposit has been accepted and initiated. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
In the event that Overr Eazy Farm LLC is not able to fulfill your order appropriately (i.e. animal passed away, unforeseen barriers preventing timely fulfillment), your deposit is eligible for a full refund. This is not a guarantee that your deposit will be refunded, and Overr Eazy Farm LLC reserves the right to make the final judgement of a deposit's refund eligibility.
